Yakima County VAS Won Best Nonprofit in 2021!

Earlier this year, Yakima County Volunteer Attorney Services won Best Nonprofit in the 2021 Yakima Herald-Republic Readers’ Choice Award! VAS’s 84 volunteer attorneys offered individual counsel to 351 clients last year. “Our goal,” Quinn Dalan, VAS’s executive director said, “is to make sure that anyone can get into that courthouse and get justice.” With over 35,000 votes, the organization placed first in the nonprofit category.
